     The "Friendly Valley Times" has been in print since June 2007. Sponsored by the Pride & Betterment Committee, "Friendly Valley Times" is a community-based monthly newsletter that is sent free of charge to everyone in the 50672 zip code as well as to those who advertise in the newsletter. Beginning in October 2007, the committee began selling subscriptions for those non-advertisers outside of 50672. A subscription can be purchased for $5 per year. The newsletter includes updates on committees in the community, community calendar, recipes, classifieds, and advertising. "Friendly Valley Times" is a great way to stay connected to Steamboat Rock!
