This wonderful scenic country drive follows the Iowa River through the rolling hills of the Greenbelt from Alden to Eldora. From Iowa Falls to Steamboat Rock much of the drive is along gravel roads but this quiet journey through the rolling hills with extensive timber is especially wonderful in the autumn when the leaves are magnificent. But it is also beautiful in the spring when there are wildflowers in abundance at such places as Hardin City Access and the Eagle City area.
