This Playground Equipment will offer hours of enjoyment to the children of the community as well as attracting those who pass through to stop and stay for a bit and enjoy our community.

Saturday, August 30,

7:00 to 10:00 a.m. Pride & Betterment will be serving omelets in the gym FREEWILL OFFERING.

7:00 a.m. The Library will be serving Breakfast Burritos behind the school.

7:00 5K Run registration

8:00 5K Run

9:00 a.m. to 3:00 Historical Society Museum Open

    Coffee served 9 -11, New Display on leather working

    Quilt Show in the former City Hall building

    sponsored by the Historical Society.  Dorothy Baker

    will present the history of quilting at 10:00 and 1:00.

11:00 am to 1:00 pm the Fire Department will be    

    serving pulled pork sandwiches, potato chips and pop

    FREEWILL OFFERING.  They will have their fire

    trucks on display and will be giving the kids rides on

    the fire truck.


Sunday, August 31,

7:00 to 9:00 a.m. Breakfast at the Boat Club

10:00 a.m. Community Church Service at the

    Cemetery, bring your lawn chairs.

12 noon: Tractor Pull begins at the old ball park.                        

    Refreshment stand will be open.

Monday, September 1,

4:00 to 7:00 p.m: All you can eat Chicken and Sweet    

    Corn Supper at Boat Club! 

    Adults $10, kids 7 thru 11 $5.00 under 7 free
